Min tread depth across the central 3/4 of the breadth of the tyre and around the entire outer circumference must NOT be less than
1.6 mm. There must be no cuts or bulges on any part of the tyre.

Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge to check pressures. Adjust pressures when tyres are cold (don't forget spare and remember to refit valve caps).

The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or the top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable.

Tell examiner if there is a problem with anti lock brakes a warning light should illuminate on the dasboard.

Operate the control to wash and wipe the windscreen.

Show me how you would set the demister controls to clear the windows effectively.  This should include both front and rear screens.
Pupil (what to do).
Set all relevant controls including fan, temperature,air direction and heated screens to clear windscreen and windows. Engine does not have to be started for this demo.

Show me how you would switch on the rear fog lights and explain when you would use them.

Operate swich ( turn on ignition ). Explain when you would use fog lights.

Show me how you swich your headlights from dipped to main beam and explain how you would know the main beam is on whilst inside the car.

Turn on the ignition. Operate leaver from dipped to main beam. explain how you know when main beam is on.
