Engine oil should be checked regularly.
Make sure the vehicle is standing on level ground.
Switch the ignition off and wait some minutes for the engine oil to flow back to the sump.
A cold engine should not be started before checking the engine oil.
Pull out the dipstick, wipe it with a clean, non-fluffy cloth,
re-insert it completely and pull it out once more.
If the level lies between the marks, there is no need to refill.
If it lies at the MIN mark refill using only engine oil recommended by the car manufacturer.
Top up to only the upper mark
To open the oil filer cap twist (Do NOT open when the engine is running) fill as necessary
Recheck oil level.
Replace oil filler cap
